About hjobs
hjobs is a small, independent job search site for people looking at remote and international work. It aims to be clear about what it knows and what it does not.
What we are trying to do
Searching for work across borders is harder than searching locally. A single word, "remote", can mean work from anywhere, work from one country or work from an approved list of regions. Pay may be set in one currency and taxed in another. Hours may overlap with a team eight time zones away. hjobs exists to put those details closer to the front of your search, and to offer plain-language guides for the questions that appear between "interesting role" and "accepted offer".
What you will find here
- A job board that shows listings from a public feed with location and working context visible.
- Career guides written to be practical rather than promotional.
- Browser tools, including a skills matcher and a job compatibility checker.
- Saved listings kept on your own device, so you can come back to a shortlist without creating an account.
Where listings come from
Listings are fetched from public job feeds when they are reachable. We do not verify employers, and a listing appearing here is not an endorsement. If a feed cannot be loaded, the board shows sample opportunities that are clearly labelled as illustrative. They are not live vacancies. Always apply through the original source and check that the role is current.
Principles
- Say what a tool does. Our tools count overlapping keywords. We describe them that way and do not call them AI assessments.
- Keep data on your device. There are no user accounts and no CV uploads.
- No invented authority. We do not claim certifications, partnerships or approvals we do not hold.
- Be easy to leave. Every listing links to its original source. You apply with the employer, not with us.
What hjobs is not
hjobs is not a recruiter, an employer or a staffing agency. It does not place candidates, take fees from applicants or give legal, immigration or tax advice. See the disclaimer for the full wording.
Who is behind it
The site's content and tools are written and maintained by an independent author. You can read about her, and see links to her public profiles, on the author page. We do not publish a company registration or office address on this site, and we do not claim one.
